About This Game
Iron Thunder: Retro Warfare is a top-down pixel-art tank shooter dripping with CRT-arcade nostalgia. Drop a coin, grab the controls, and push your war machine through the Green Frontier and beyond as the relentless Iron Legion invades the globe.
Fight across 16 themed worlds — from the USA's green frontier and Vietnam's delta jungle to Egypt's sun dunes, Russia's frozen steppe, and Greece's tempest isles — plus extra bonus skirmishes. Each region ends in an explosive boss showdown against foes like General Eagle, the Dragon Overlord, the Magma Titan, and Zeus the Storm Titan.
Switch between a rapid cannon, missile barrage, and shockwave on the fly, then spend energy on shields, repairs, and devastating rocket strikes. Master the turbo dash to weave through enemy fire and find the secret gate hidden in every stage.
Dynamic weather raises the stakes: lightning storms, sandstorms, blizzards, fog, and pitch-black nights all change how you fight. Play with keyboard and mouse on desktop or jump in with on-screen touch controls on mobile.

Instant nostalgia hit
Runs buttery smooth in the browser and the pixel art is gorgeous. Exactly the kind of retro fix I was after.

Worth every cent
Bought it on a whim during the sale and I've already sunk hours in. The controls feel tight and responsive.

Great little game
Solid pixel action with a proper difficulty curve. A couple of levels are brutal but in a fun way.

Played on desktop and phone
Loved that my purchase carried over to mobile. Same crisp sprites, same chiptune soundtrack. No complaints.
